Auditions: “The Prom” – Dates Added

Call all your friends, get dressed up in your best outfits, do your hair & makeup, grab the camera, and tie up those Converses, cause……. It’s time for Prom!!!!

Four eccentric Broadway stars are in desperate need of a new stage. So, when they hear that trouble is brewing around a small-town prom, they know that it’s time to put a spotlight on the issue…and themselves. The town’s parents want to keep the high school dance on the straight and narrow—but when one student just wants to bring her girlfriend to prom, the entire town has a date with destiny. On a mission to transform lives, Broadway’s brassiest join forces with a courageous girl and the town’s citizens and the result is love that brings them all together. THE PROM expertly captures all the humor and heart of a classic musical comedy with a message that resonates with audiences now more than ever.

Audition Dates Added!

Additional cast members needed for roles of high school students for Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre’s upcoming production of “The Prom”

PLEASE NOTE: We are making an exception regarding the age restrictions with this production. You must be 17 years old (or older) by May 23, 2024 to audition.

Auditions will be held:

  • Wednesday, January 31st, 6:00pm to 9:00pm and
  • Friday, February 2nd, 6:00pm to 8:30pm

Location: Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church, 611 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard, Severna Park, MD.

PLEASE COME PREPARED! Time is of the essence and we need to hear you performing the actual songs you would sing in the show.

Your audition will also include a dance portion. Please wear comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear. Additional information regarding the dance is included in the link above as well.

Roles are unpaid, non-equity

All ethnicities, genders, and body types are encouraged to audition for any role.

The production contains mature content and strong adult language.
