Community Theatre Thrives Telethon, July 17-18,

Fourteen all-volunteer theatres from DC, Maryland and Virginia are coming together for a two-day fundraising telethon, to ensure that local performing arts continue to thrive in the Washington DC region for years to come. This one-time event is being coordinated by the Reston Community Players. The event will take place on and on YouTube and will begin at 6:30 p.m. on July 17 and again all day on July 18. Donations will be accepted online and by phone at 833-615-0922.

Participating companies include: Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre, The Arlington Players, The City of Fairfax Theatre Company, The Colonial Players of Annapolis, The Hard Bargain Players, Kensington Arts Theatre, Laurel Mill Playhouse, Port Tobacco Players, Prince William Little Theatre, Reston Community Players, Rockville Little Theatre, Sterling Playmakers, Silver Spring Stage, and The Victorian Lyric Opera Company
